enrichments

Legal Prep has many Enrichment activities and clubs outside the classroom that students enjoy- many started by students themselves! Enrichments help students develop non-academic interests and build well-rounded students. Legal Prep has a variety of enrichment opportunities and always encourage students to explore their interests beyond what is available. Have an idea for a club? There is a place for you to start it! Some highlights of existing enrichment opportunities are below.

Drivers Education takes place in the Spring Semester and is open to all students eligible for a drivers permit. This class fulfilled the academic class requirement to be eligible to take the drivers license test. The Secretary of State of Illinois requires that you be in Drivers Education for a minimum of 30 hours. Students need to attend every class!

State's Attorney Internship

Open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, this program takes place in 2nd semester and serves as a real-world internship experience. Twice a week during the school day, students travel to the State's Attorney's office to work with their paired Assistance State's Attorney team to help review case files, sit in on trials, and support office work. Students also take a supplementary seminar class to support this experiential opportunity.
